FRANCO DRAGONE

Author and Artistic Director

Raised in the pure tradition of the Comedia dell’arte, Franco Dragone early left his native Italy, first joining the Gaulier course in Paris, then travelling Europe to hone his talent.

His entry into the Compagnie du Campus was his passport to production, where, between 1985 and 1999, he put on the Cirque du Soleil’s first ten spectacles.

At the same time, Franco opened in France with the creation of the Archaos circus, standard bearer of the New Circus concept.

And by launching his own company, the artist showed that he knew how to behave both as an entrepreneur and a manager.

Today, the Lido is delighted to welcome this dreamer with the limitless imagination.
